Pres. Barack Obama won re-election tonight and will stay in the White House for four more years. Pres. Obama defeated Republican Mitt Romney in a tight race that came down to a couple of swing states including Ohio, Colorado, Iowa, Virginia and Florida. As of this morning, Pres. Obama had won 303 Electoral College votes and was winning in the popular vote by 50,000.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s headband caused quite a commotion last night. On Twitter, politicos and fashionistas debated whether she should have wore an “informal accessory” to such a ceremonial event as the State of the Union.
