As you know, today is the 11 anniversary of the 9/11, the terrible day in American history when the World Trade Centers and the Pentagon were attacked and passengers died on Flight 93 as they prevented a 3rd attack. Pres. Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama remembered the day by having a moment of silence at the White House and attending a memorial at the Pentagon with victim families and friends.
Pres. Obama stated at the Pentagon memorial, “Your loved ones will never be forgotten. They will endure in the hearts of our nation, because through their sacrifice they helped us make the America we are today, an America that has emerged even stronger.”
