To celebrate the one year anniversary of Joining Forces, First Lady Michelle Obama appeared on ‘The Colbert Report’ last night. In the short interview, the First Lady offered a couple of laughs in between talking about the work she has been doing with Joining Forces and spotlighting our military families.
“Jill Biden and I started this initiative to make sure that this country, which is a grateful nation, that we make sure that we do whatever we can to honor the service of our veterans, our troops and their families,” Mrs. Obama stated.
Mrs. Obama last appeared on The Colbert in 2008 when she was on the campaign seen below. Colbert said last night, “The first time you were on my show, you were not the First Lady; now, you are. “That’s called the Colbert Bump.
