The Girl Scouts were out and about on Capitol Hill today. To celebrate 100 years, the world-renowned development organization for girls, launched ToGetHerThere, a leadership campaign to motivate young women to become leaders in all facets of society.

To kick off the launch they gathered in Washington, DC to gain momentum to raise $1 billion for the initiative and promote the leadership campaign. On hand for the announcement was Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD), Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D- TX) and Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD).
